About Lauren

Lauren E. Raupp is the Managing Partner of MacGillis Law Group, LLC, where her practice is devoted exclusively to representing injured individuals and families throughout Wisconsin. She has dedicated her career to helping people navigate some of life’s most difficult circumstances, including serious motor vehicle accidents, trucking collisions, motorcycle crashes, pedestrian and bicycle accidents, unsafe products, nursing home abuse and neglect, dog bites and animal attacks, and wrongful death cases. Lauren also has specialized experience representing police officers, firefighters, and other first responders who have been injured while serving their communities.

Lauren believes the client should be the most important person in the room. Their goals, concerns, challenges, and priorities help guide the decisions made throughout a case. By combining clear communication with thorough preparation, Lauren works to ensure every client feels heard, informed, and supported from start to finish. She understands that no two clients-and no two injuries-are exactly alike, and she takes pride in helping people make informed decisions during difficult and uncertain times.

As Managing Partner, Lauren is committed to maintaining those same standards across the firm. She believes that strong advocacy begins with listening, preparation, and a genuine commitment to the people being served. Her dedication to the practice of injury law and the client experience has earned the respect of both clients and peers throughout Wisconsin.

In recognition of her work, Lauren was honored by the Wisconsin Association for Justice (WAJ) as its 2022 Outstanding Young Trial Lawyer. She has also been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, a Top 10 Under 40 Attorney by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys, and a Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers. In 2024, she was elected as a Fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation, an honor reserved for attorneys who have demonstrated significant professional achievement, leadership, and service.

Lauren remains actively involved in advancing the legal profession. She has served as Chair of the Young Lawyers Division and Vice Chair of the Women’s Caucus for the Wisconsin Association for Justice and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Association for Women Lawyers.

Lauren earned her J.D. and Certificate in Litigation from Marquette University Law School. During law school, she served as a judicial intern with the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, worked as a Student Practitioner with Milwaukee Corporation Counsel, and was selected as a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure. She was also inducted into Marquette’s Pro Bono Honor Society for her volunteer work with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic and studied international law abroad at Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany.

Before attending law school, Lauren worked as a paralegal at a personal injury firm, an experience that sparked her passion for representing injured individuals and families. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

Although originally from the Chicago suburbs, Lauren has proudly made Wisconsin her home. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, and their two sons, George and Henry.
