Paul V. Gagliardi

Paul V. Gagliardi is an Of Counsel attorney at MacGillis Law Group who brings more than 45 years of civil litigation and trial experience to the firm. He now focuses his practice on professional malpractice matters.

Paul earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College in 1974. He went on to work for Ernst & Young, where he earned his CPA while attending Marquette University Law School. After earning his law degree in 1979, Paul founded Gagliardi Law and spent more than four decades representing clients in civil litigation matters before joining MacGillis Law Group.

Throughout his career, Paul has obtained several seven-figure jury verdicts for injured clients and successfully appeared before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. His work includes the landmark medical negligence case Bartholomew, which resulted in a Wisconsin Supreme Court decision establishing two separate caps in medical negligence cases and remains Wisconsin law today.

Paul has been a board-certified trial attorney since 2000 and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer. He has also held numerous leadership positions with the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers, including serving as President. Paul is licensed to practice in both Wisconsin and Illinois.

Outside his legal practice, Paul has spent decades giving back to his community. He served on the board of Kenosha Visiting Nurse Association for more than 35 years and has also served the Sharing Center and other nonprofit organizations.

After more than four decades in practice, Paul is proud to bring his experience to MacGillis Law Group and looks forward to finishing his career working alongside the firm’s next generation of trial lawyers.

Paul lives in Pleasant Prairie with his wife, Joni, and his canine pal, Marty. He has three children and ten grandchildren.
