Attorney Spotlight: Partner Frank Gagliardi
Some professional relationships are built quickly. Others are shaped over time through shared experiences, shared values, and a common commitment to doing what is right for clients.
The firm’s relationship with Frank Gagliardi began years ago through the Wisconsin Association for Justice, when he was still a young lawyer and met another up-and-coming attorney, Chris MacGillis. Over time, their connection grew through committee work, industry events, and a mutual respect for thoughtful, ethical advocacy. Long before Frank joined the MacGillis Law Group, it was clear that his approach to the practice of law aligned closely with the values that guide the firm every day.
Frank spent many years practicing at his family’s firm in Kenosha, where he developed a strong foundation grounded in responsibility, integrity, and client-focused representation. He later served as a Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge—an experience that profoundly shaped the way he approaches his work today. Seeing cases from the bench provided a unique perspective, reinforcing an essential belief: for most clients, being heard matters just as much as the outcome of their case, if not more.
As his father Paul V. Gagliardi began to wind down their family practice, Frank faced an important decision. Rather than carrying on alone—knowing it would demand an unsustainable amount of time—he chose to seek a path that allowed him to remain present for his young family and his wife, while continuing to serve clients at the highest level. That decision reflected his priorities and his belief that being a great attorney should not come at the expense of being present for the people who matter most.
Frank was drawn to MacGillis Law Group because of its collaborative environment and culture. He valued the opportunity to work within a team of like-minded attorneys who embrace forward-thinking strategies while staying grounded in principled advocacy. The firm’s commitment to doing what is right for clients, above all else, aligned seamlessly with his own values and work ethic.
“For most clients, being heard matters just as much as the outcome of their case, if not more.”
He was also excited about the role he could play as the firm continues to evolve. As leader of the pre-suit department, Frank brings deep experience in resolving cases in ways that provide maximum benefit to clients. Just as important, he is passionate about mentoring younger attorneys—helping create a consistent, unified approach to case handling that balances strong legal strategy with an exceptional client experience.
That consistency is intentional. It ensures clients receive thoughtful, responsive representation at every stage of their case, supported by a team that shares the same standards and values.
At the center of Frank’s work is a deep commitment to people. Family is the most important part of his life, and he brings that same level of care, honesty, and empathy to his relationships with clients. He communicates openly, builds trust through authenticity, and believes that real connection is essential to effective representation.
Outside the office, Frank remains deeply involved in his community. He coaches youth athletics, currently softball, and has coached baseball at the little league, club, and high school levels, with experience consulting at the collegiate level. But above all, he prioritizes time with his wife and children—embracing the simple, meaningful moments–dinners, long walks, and daily conversation–that make a lasting impact.
Those values—presence, integrity, and genuine care—are the same ones that guide Frank’s work every day and make him an integral part of the firm.
