Jennifer M. Gorn

Jennifer Gorn is a personal injury and medical malpractice attorney at MacGillis Law Group who represents individuals and families facing serious injuries and complex legal challenges. Known for her steady, practical approach, Jennifer helps clients navigate difficult circumstances with clarity, confidence, and a strong understanding of what is at stake.

Before becoming an attorney, Jennifer spent nearly a decade working in emergency departments throughout southeastern Wisconsin and served as a licensed EMT. That experience continues to shape her work today, giving her a unique perspective on serious injuries and the high-stress situations her clients and their families face.

Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Northern Illinois University College of Law. She began her legal career representing injury victims at a personal injury firm in Illinois before returning to her hometown of Burlington, Wisconsin. There, she developed a broad litigation practice and became a named partner, handling a wide range of civil matters.

In 2022, Jennifer chose to focus her practice exclusively on personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. She has successfully represented clients through trial, arbitration, and mediation, achieving significant results while remaining focused on the individual needs and experience of each client.

Jennifer’s background in both medicine and law has taught her the importance of remaining calm when circumstances are anything but. She brings that perspective to every case—helping clients understand what comes next, advocating for what they need, and making sure they never feel lost in the process. Outside of the office, Jen also volunteers as a mentor through the State Bar of Wisconsin.
