Marisol González Castillo
About Marisol
Marisol González Castillo is a partner at MacGillis Law Group whose practice focuses on personal injury law. She understands that an injury can leave people dealing with a lot at once, and she works to make the legal side of things as clear and manageable as possible.
Marisol believes clients should understand what is happening with their case and feel comfortable asking questions along the way. She takes the time to listen, explain the process, and understand what matters most to each client while working to achieve the best possible result for them.
Before joining MacGillis Law Group, Marisol represented clients in personal injury, workers’ compensation, landlord-tenant, consumer, and unemployment compensation matters. That broad experience gives her perspective on the different legal and practical challenges people can face when something unexpected disrupts their lives.
Marisol earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. During law school, she interned with the Wisconsin Innocence Project and Chicago Legal Clinic and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society. She has remained active in Wisconsin’s legal community and has served as visiting faculty for Lawyering Skills and Professional Responsibilities courses at the University of Wisconsin Law School.
Originally from Mexico City, Marisol understands the importance of being able to communicate with clients in the language in which they are most comfortable. She represents clients in both English and Spanish and is a member of the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association and the Wisconsin Association for Justice.
Outside the office, Marisol enjoys biking, baking, and spending time with her partner and their dogs.
