Each year, the WAJ selects an attorney who demonstrates a strong commitment to the goals laid out by the association. For 2020, Chris MacGillis has been honored by the Wisconsin Association for Justice (WAJ) for being an accomplished, committed young attorney to his clients and community. His passion and hard work for his clients qualify him as an outstanding young trial attorney.

On May 8th, 2021, the Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation (PFFWCF) hosted their annual Fired-Up Charity Ball & Fundraiser at the Milwaukee Harley Davidson Museum. As Personal Injury & First Responder Lawyers, we were honored to not only attend, but also be an event sponsor as well as donate towards their Bid for Kids fund. A great event for an even greater cause.

For the months of May and August, 2021, MacGillis Wiemer, LLC, sponsored the Urban Ecology Centers In My Backyard program. As family law attorneys, we appreciate organizations like this that offer safe and educational recreation for kids and families of all ages.

On Aug. 20, 2020, Attorney Christopher MacGillis of MacGillis Wiemer, LLC of Wauwatosa, filed the three complaints which are practically identical aside from the group of retirees listed; one case is on behalf of Racine Fire and EMS retirees, another on behalf of Racine Police Department retirees, and the third for retired members of AFSCME Local 67 which represents Public Works and other city employees.
