Dusty E. Gross-Goeden

Dusty E. Gross is a First Responder Attorney at MacGillis Law Group, where she primarily represents police and fire unions in labor and employment matters. She is committed to protecting the rights and interests of public safety professionals and providing practical, solution-focused guidance when challenges arise.

Dusty believes strong representation starts with understanding the people she serves. She takes the time to learn each client’s circumstances, goals, and concerns and works to find an approach that makes sense for them. Known for building strong client relationships, Dusty brings care, preparation, and persistence to every matter she handles.

Dusty earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School, where she served as Managing Editor of the Marquette Benefits and Social Welfare Law Review and was inducted into the Pro Bono Honors Society after completing more than 100 hours of volunteer service. During law school, she also gained experience with the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, Wisconsin Supreme Court, and in civil litigation and employment law.

Before attending law school, Dusty worked as a paralegal in several areas of law. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and an associate degree in Paralegal Studies from Fox Valley Technical College, both with honors.

Dusty continues to give back through the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic and Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Mentor 2.0 program and is a member of the Association for Women Lawyers.

A lifelong Wisconsin resident, Dusty enjoys exploring Milwaukee with her husband, Justin, and their dogs, Charlee Anne and Laycee Anne. She also enjoys cycling, spending time in Northern Wisconsin, and recreational golf.
