Katherine E. Metzger
About Kate
Kate Metzger is a personal injury attorney who has spent more than a decade representing individuals and families after serious injuries. Licensed in both Wisconsin and New Mexico, Kate helps clients navigate difficult circumstances and understand their options when the path forward may not be clear.
Kate represents clients in cases involving car crashes, slip and falls, medical negligence, nursing home negligence and abuse, and other serious injuries. She believes good representation starts with listening. Kate takes the time to understand what happened, how an injury has affected her client’s life, and what matters most to them before determining the best way forward.
A graduate of the Trial Lawyers College (TLC), Kate has completed advanced training in trial advocacy and client-centered storytelling. That training reinforces an approach she brings to every case: know the client, know the facts, prepare thoroughly, and make sure the client’s experience is understood.
Kate is committed to keeping clients informed and involved throughout their case. She knows that most people who come to her have never needed a personal injury lawyer before, and she works to make the legal process feel more understandable and less overwhelming.
Outside the office, Kate enjoys being involved in her community and spending time with family and friends. Her approach to practicing law is straightforward: listen carefully, treat people well, do the work, and be prepared to advocate for the client when it matters.
